Home Away Child Care Center provides a list of after school classes that are suitable for children of different ages. About Our
Literacy/Book Corner
At Home Away Child Care Center, we believe in the saying “practice makes perfect”. This is exactly what we implement right here at our center. Our literacy/book corner class lets students practice and hone on their writing and reading skills to further expand their ability in each area of literacy. Additionally, we can also help them revise what they learnt throughout the school year. Instead of simply reading with the students and letting them write simple alphabets, we explore various alternative methods that can evoke their interests in these two areas. Students may be required to write down or discuss topics that interest them so as to make their learning more enjoyable and fun, or random interesting subject matters could be made the highlight of that day.

Thus, at Home Away Child Care Center, we believe in improvising on our teaching methods so as to cater to the different learning capacities of every student at our center.
